As a project manager for a QA team, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for such areas as:
• Managing project resources of a disctributed QA team of ~30 team members• Prioritizing project tasks, distributing tasks among the team members, and monitoring project progress• Procurement management of required hardware for QA team• Engaging in project kick-off negotiations to define product vision and the scope of prospective work• Performing change management• Performing risk management• Providing status updates, reports on the project progress to multiple stakeholders• People management: conducting performance reviews of team members, evaluation and setting development goals, motivating, maintaining morale, preventing and resolving conflicts• Initiating and approving required project-specific training for the project team members • Working with top management to constantly develop and improve project processes• Ensuring project delivery process and deliverables within time and scope constraints• Reviewing and checking team time reports, ensuring they are maintained according to company guidelines
Working for a Point of Sale (POS) platform-building company, we are looking to complement our team working on a project for multiple restaurant business domains: quick service restaurants (QSR), table service restaurants (TSR) and retail.
Our client is a product company and a major player in the POS domain, and has already released several POS-platforms, Back of House management systems, data management systems and a set of web applications designed to create corporate websites, widely used in the USA for QSR.
Our flagship product – the POS – is designed to work in “offline-first” mode (in case of network interruptions) to create orders and synchronize with Cloud data storage and/or other systems, support 3rd party software and be integrated with an extensive list of hardware devices.
The end market involves well over 100,000 onsite installations. The client already has great influence on the QSR industry in the USA and has actively conquered the European market (Spain and Great Britain in particular).
